Poster Slam

  • The poster slam session is a unique opportunity to introduce your poster to a wide audience and attract people to come and read your poster.

  • The poster slam will be held directly after the key note talk by Weiming Wu on Monday 19th September at 11.30am. Room number 47.02.

  • The key note starts at 10.30am therefore we ask that you ensure you upload any slides prior to this time (between 8.30am–9.00am or 10.00am–10.30am in room 47.02).

  • For participation in the poster slam a registration before the conference is necessary.

  • The order of the presentations will be posted on the conference website under the preliminary scientific program section.  Each presenter will be invited to present their slides in this order. If you have not uploaded any slides prior to the session you may present the information orally.

  • If you are presenting, please be seated close to the front to ensure a smooth transition.

  • Presenters may talk for a maximum of 2 minutes.

  • You may wish to advise people where to find your poster, explain briefly what the poster is about and your contact details, but this is just a suggestion.

  • If you will be standing at your poster at particular times during the conference (e.g. during the coffee breaks) this may also be the perfect time to inform people to come and speak to you.
